Tips if you are going to do Buggies in United Kingdom

Buggy experiences are an amazing blend of off-roading, adrenaline, speed, competition and most importantly – fun! There’s nothing like spending an afternoon with your closest, racing around a specialised circuit in a lightweight motorised buggy reaching speeds of up to 60mph. Give yourself a challenge and go off-road, testing your driving skills to the max, or even hire buggies for a new way to tour your favourite UK destinations – there’s really something for everybody! So without further ado, here are our top 5 reasons why you should drive a buggy in the UK.
1. An off-road experience
Whilst buggies are amazing options for all sorts of terrains, one of the most popular ways to enjoy driving these little speed machines is off-road. If you’ve never driven a vehicle off the beaten track then you’ll be in for a surprise – it’s a completely different experience than driving on the roads, with a variety of different surfaces and obstacles for you to manoeuvre through. The loose suspension and light frame of buggies make them an incredible way to experience high speed adrenaline off-road; you’ll feel every bump and grind which makes for an incredible thrill ride. So set yourself a challenge and give it a go!
2. Easy to learn
One of the main benefits of going on a buggy experience is that they are very easy to learn – just one short safety briefing and you’ll be on your way to drive round the track by yourself. Just imagine driving normally, but instead of a normal car you’re driving a streamlined, lightweight body mod on wheels; whilst the mechanics of driving are generally the same, the handling and speed are completely different, but you’ll get used to the increased acceleration and handling sensitivity in no time. What’s more is that there are also experiences that don’t require a driver’s license, so all are welcome!
3. Kids love them!
Buggy experiences are also incredible days out for the whole family. Even if you’re driving those that require licenses, your kids will absolutely love being in the passenger seat, being able to experience the thrill of their lives next to you. Jumping in the buggy is a special experience for all younger passengers, and even if you’re not racing around a track, just being driven on a tour of the UK coast is something they’ll never forget and is great fun for the whole family!
4. Race against your friends
Buggy racing is one of the most popular ways to enjoy this adrenaline-fueled, thrilling experience by extreme sports enthusiasts all over the country. Enjoy an exciting (and muddy!) day out on off-road circuits, testing your skills and seeing who’s the best driver amongst your friends! What’s more, is that this plan is perfect for stag and hen do’s, corporate team building, birthdays, and just about any celebration you wish – it truly is an amazing and unique day out to share with those around you.
5. Drive on all kinds of terrains
Going on a buggy experience will take you all across the UK, and you’ll have the opportunity to drive on all kinds of a variety of terrains. From off-road to beaches, buggies’ versatility knows no bounds – with the chassis of a light car, and the suspension and tyres of a quadbike, you can comfortably and safely drive along almost any surface. Not only will this provide you with unforgettable experiences, but you’ll also be able to test your driving skills on all kinds of landscapes!
When should I go?
As buggies are open top vehicles, we would best advise you to choose the warmer, sunnier climates to book the experience. If you’re planning on racing around a mud track, we would suggest any dry day during spring to summer/autumn, as the general wetter climate allows for muddier circuits – which means more fun! However, for any other kind of buggy experience we’d say it best to save it for the summer/autumn, so you can fully enjoy the ambience of the environment and just focus on the drive.
