The Penny Lane River Cruiser

The Penny Lane is a river boat on the River Avon in Bath, available for private and corporate hire. We offer a unique venue for any kind of event or celebration and we can help you organise the party. If you are looking for a special, floating venue with a contemporary feel, the Penny Lane is the perfect boat for your event.

The Penny Lane is a great venue for special occasions, providing amazing backgrounds for your photographs with the Pulteney Weir in the background and the lovely sceneries on the way. The picturesque settings on our route make any event even more memorable. We sail along the River Avon out into the beautiful countryside after passing under several bridges.

Our boat is available all year round and as it has a heated salon, you can enjoy cruising the river comfortably during the winter months as well. We can accommodate from 30 to 100 guests for private and corporate events, but if you are fewer people, we also offer regular ticketed events. So if you are a smaller group looking for a special cruise, then join one of our scheduled trips, such as our Sunday Cruise, Vintage Tea Cruise or BBQ Cruise.
