Orwell Lady

Orwell Lady was built in 1979 operating from Westminster Pier for 11 years and started from Orwell Quay in 2001.

Orwell River Cruises was set up by a local businessman, who was determined to provide a local cruise service so the people could enjoy  the wonders of the River Orwell, Stour estuary or the amazing Port of Felixstowe. This boat trips made it possible for residents of Ipswich and visitors to Suffolk to delight once again in river-cruising after an absence of several decades.

Orwell Lady is suitable for all kind of celebration such as sightseeing trips, family parties, music nights or buffet cruises. Orwell Lady has a seating accomodation of 118, though 65 for private charter is recommended so that, in the event of inclement weather, the hirer and guests can be comfortably accommodated undercover in the main saloon.There is food and music service and a fuly licensed bar serving hot, cold and alcohlic drink.
