Many more passengers sailed with us on our amazing cruises over the years since 2004, when the company was founded by the Barbeary and led by former skipper Paul Barbeary until he retired in 2021. The Ilfracombe Princess changed hands in 2019 with a very passionate local family taking over, headed by Mark and Stuart Hutchings, coming with years of boat touring experience and lots of passion.

This is truly a family-run business to its core, and so the passion for all the experiences we offer is strong. All of our trips are run by a highly dedicated team, from the crew to the skipper, Jack, who served 13 years with the Royal Navy, so you are in the professional hands of people eager to display the beauty of the wonderful Devon coastline and share unique local knowledge with you along the way.

We offer several cruises from Ilfracombe Harbour with lots of local wildlife to spot, especially if you come on our Seals & Lighthouse Cruise, where you can discover where the local Atlantic Grey Seals reside. All our tours will lead you to many local landmarks and wonderful natural sights, there are plenty of options, and all are sure to be fun for all the family!
