Archery for Schools

Archery for Schools was set up to introduce archery into the school environment without the initial equipment costs. We therefore provide and maintain all the equipment necessary. We are committed to coaching within a safe environment and so carry out full risk assessments for each venue.

We coach archery to primary and secondary school pupils aged from 8 to 18 years within the guidelines recommended by Archery GB  We can provide a teaching programme to suit your school’s needs or can deliver our standard Beginner’s and Skills Development courses. We also deliver courses for GCSE and A level Physical Education.

Our coach competes in archery at both county and national level and is currently a member of the Cambridgeshire squad and is the current county champion. He is a qualified coach through Archery GB and has enhanced CRB clearance. He has completed a child protection course with Sports Coach UK and we provide full Archery Specific insurance
