Welcome to The York Dungeon
The York Dungeon gives you a 70 minute tour through more than 2000 years of York´s history. With a cast of theatrical actors, special effects, and a walkthrough experience where you can feel, hear, smell, touch and see, the gruesome history of York will be brought alive for you to experience! You will enjoy 8 live actors in 11 live shows, all based on real history, including the stories of Dick Turpin and Guy Fawkes.
We think everyone will enjoy this experience, apart from the very young, and those who are faint-hearted!
Location
We are conveniently located, just a 10 minute walk from York Station on Station Road, or if you are driving, there is car parking available at St. George’s Field and Castle car parks, and coach parking at St. George’ Field and Union Terrace.
We are open 7 days a week, excluding Christmas day.
