Welcome to the oldest model village in the UK, Bekonscot Model Village & Railway!
We have been open since 1929 and for over 80 years we have been presenting UK´s history, a stunning model railway, more than 2 acres of beautiful gardens and extremely detailed buildings to the public.
The staff of Bekonscot can proudly assure you that a day with Bekonscot Model Village & Railway is a great day out for the whole family. We take care, update and preserve non-stop a huge village stuck in the 1930s. Come with all your loved ones and sightsee how England used to be, discover and explore the little world and their massive but tiny population.
Along the sightseeing of the miniature railway, village and garden, take a ride in a real life-size light train railway! Hop in, the train departs every few minutes! We also have available children's play areas and fun games, just to enjoy a full day with us and the whole family.
We recommend our tour to schools, large groups and birthday parties! The package for the birthday includes party invitations, sole use of the cabin, buffet food, free rides on the train for the children, party bags, games and quizzes and much more!
