The Shadow Flight Centre is the place to experience the wonder of flying a microlight aircraft for yourself.

Microlights are a great way to enjoy flying no matter your level of experience. As well as offering Private Pilot courses, we have flights for everyone, even total novices we have our trial flights, where your pilot looks after the necessities of taking off and landing while giving you as much opportunity as possible to take the controls and guide these reliable and safe aircraft through the skies.

The pieces of training consist of NPPL flying, NPPL Microlight Unrestricted and Restricted Licences. As much as ground examinations, written tests and medical requirements, such as physical medical certifications. We also provide training for disabled pilots, assistant flying, refresher courses and more. They base their training in the AFI and BMAA syllabus - which is really demanding in time and education, meaning great preparation and practice.
