Welcome to Great Western Airsports!

We are based in Somerset, Great Western Airsports, providing easy access to aviation for those living in Bath, Bristol & Trowbridge. We specialise in microlight aviation, being the only one in the region with these services for over eight years. The facilities are located only 6 miles south of Bath. It is a lovely and tranquil area where you can learn how to pilot ultralight aircraft at your own pace.

We work with an experienced instructor who has trained an important number of aspiring pilots - more than anyone else in the United Kingdom - and has helped them achieve their objectives. You are guaranteed a perfect experience with him, and you will learn everything you need to know about flying a light aircraft in no time at all. There is also the option to treat yourself or someone close to you with an Air Experience Flight Gift Voucher, thus allowing you to try a new and exciting experience.

At Great Western Airsports, we use three types of microlight aircraft for the flights. The Cyclone AX2000 3-axis(fixed wing) Microlight, the thruster TST conventional tailwheel microlight aircraft and the Pegasus Quantum 912 Weightshift(Flexwing) Microlight. Both the NPPL training course and the pleasure flights will take place in one of these aeroplanes.
