Based at the Headcorn Aerodrome, Aero Legends seeks to provide aviation enthusiasts with the opportunity to fly historic aeroplanes in what is a voyage back in time that will surely turn into a memorable experience. Founded back in the 1940's during World War II, Headcorn is the last remaining grass wartime airfield in Kent and one of the few in the UK.
Aero Legends provide an ample variety of flights, including pleasure flights in Devon, which are done using one of the most popular aeroplanes in history, an RAF 1946 de Havilland Devon. This unique tour allows you to enjoy the spectacular views of Kent from an equally impressive perspective, high up in the air.
Our clients may also fly in three other historical aircraft such as the metal beast that is Harvard, the gentle Jackaroo and Tiger Moth and, finally, the iconic British Spitfire. Flying the latter, you can fly through the same airspace in which the Battle of Britain took place in World War II thus accurately recreating the experience of a WW2 fighter pilot. Our aircraft have been carefully restored so as to closely replicate their original state.
Those looking to enjoy a unique flying experience north of London are welcome at our other facilities, located in Northamptonshire at the Sywell Aerodrome. It is home to the Tiger Moth G-PWBEm G-ANMO and T6-G G-DMV models that will take you on a historical voyage through Northamptonshire.
Aero Legends is proud to work with experienced pilots who not only have tens of thousands of hours between them but are also extremely passionate about what they do and they will be happy to share as much as possible with similarly-minded aircraft enthusiasts.
